Police step up search for missing Christchurch boy

Police have stepped up the search for a 14-year-old boy missing from his Christchurch home.
Andrew McKenzie, who has autism, was last seen in Aldwins Rd, Linwood, about 1pm.
A police southern communications spokesman said tonight the team searching the area had been increased.
"We've had a few reports of sightings of him, but nothing's come to fruition,'' he said.
Andrew is described as European, 1.64 metres tall, of thin build.He has short brown hair and is wearing a grey-black T-shirt, blue pants and black shoes.Anyone with information is asked to call police on 363 7400.
